Noelani

This pair of studs is named Noelani which means mist of heaven, which I thought was apt! Although it may seem like a dreary pair like how rain clouds are always associated with spoilt outings and days, I felt this pair is happier and lighter than most rain clouds, and thought to associate it positively with rain being thought of as a mist from heaven. The clouds are made of mother-of-pearl and are from Korea, while faceted Czech glass teardrops form the raindrops.

Another pair of gorgeous earrings featuring Korean goodies! I bought these semi-precious Amazonite beads because I found their fan shape absolutely unique. The fan beads are also faceted for optimum shine. I then used lightweight Swarovski bicones as well as semi-precious candy jade and aventurine to fill up the top so that it wouldn’t be too stressful for delicate earlobes.

Prudence – $40.80

The sepia-toned cameo in Prudence makes you think back to bygone eras of ladies in fancy dresses going to balls in Victorian times. I’ve tried to complement the cameo with shades of bronze and blue and also securing pretty blue clay roses along with a glass flower onto the cameo frame. Swarovski crystals and a glass dagger bead dangle from the frame while gold chain and Swarovski crystals and pearls link it up to the rest of the necklace. I’ve seen on blue-grey velvet ribbon to complete the necklace, giving her a luxurious feel, sure to make you feel like a lady.

Drop of pendant measures 10cm, with the end of the chains reaching just below the chest.

Verity has this very quaint Victorian feel about her, at least, that’s what I felt about the cameo and tried to suit the rest of the necklace accordingly. I’ve wired on and secured a Japanese acrylic rose and cup flower along with a clay rose onto the cameo and linked a lovely ruby coloured flat briolette to it for the focus. Diamante chain links it up to the rest of the necklace with smooth rose quartz stones and Czech glass, finished up with satin-trimmed organdie ribbon. Closure is a lobster clasp.

Drop of pendant measures 7.5cm, with the end of the pendant reaching mid-chest.
